The One-Hour Club

Interested in getting involved with Minnesota Brass, but you don't have the time to commit to every rehearsal or performance?

The "1 Hour Club" is simply this: The corps has many needs, more than can be met by the current staff. There are a lot of you out there who were thrilled about MBI's 2nd place standing in DCA and who also recognize that it takes a large amount of work to stay there. You don't have to be a performing member to be a part of MBI! The "1 Hour Club" is an opportunity to match your willingness to be involved with our need for help. Here's what to do:

Drop by at our winter rehearsal location or fill out the form below. Tell us you have 1 hour available (or more if you like) and we'll match you up with whatever needs to be done that evening. If you have 1 hour a day/week/month/or season, we'll take it. We have lots of fun things that need to be done in all sections of the organization. If you can send an advance email, that's even better. If you can't stop by at a rehearsal but are available to help, we can work with that too. Click here to get in touch with us about volunteer opportunities.

Minnesota Brass has an opportunity for every skill out there! We are excited to have you be a part of the organization.

Volunteer Update

Job Posting: Help Wanted

Were you one of the 20,700 Minnesotans who lost their job in January 2009? Are you part of the 7.9% January Minnesota unemployment statistic? Were you given 30 minutes to clear out your desk because your job was eliminated? If so, then Minnesota Brass, Inc. wants you! In fact, we need you!

We need people to be a part of MBIs Volunteer Section. The Volunteer Section is made up of people who have the desire to help out the corps by doing many essential jobs such as being a truck driver, a project coordinator, a cook or a food server, a parade helper, a souvie stand helper, and so on.
With MBI, you'll never lose your job!

MBI can offer you great benefits such as being a part of an organization of 90 plus people who:
1) Appreciate you and know your name
2) Who are glad to see you on a cold winters night in the dead of winter
3) Thank you for showing up to rehearsal to be a member of our volunteer audience

Would you like to help Minnesota Brass, Inc. in a unique way?
We have a solution for you!

We've put together The MBI Wish List. This is a list of those items that the corps uses on a regular basis. You can purchase these items in the quantity you can afford and you can give to the corps whenever is most convenient for you.
